When should I choose the card-based HS-2U-16S?
For high-density FTTC and FTTB points: sixteen card-style converter slots in the same 2U 19-inch format, fed by dual redundant power supplies. Cards insert from the front, and each bay has its own status LED, so an ISP technician can see and service every subscriber line from one shelf.
Which cards does it accept?
The FT/GT card-module family — fast-ethernet and gigabit converter cards in dual-fiber and single-fiber WDM variants. Because cards and chassis are ordered separately, you stock one chassis type and buy only the fiber reaches each line needs. Ask us for the current card list to match your FTTC or FTTB architecture.
How are failed modules handled?
Cards are hot-swappable: pull the failed card and insert a replacement without powering down the shelf, while the other fifteen lines keep running. The dual PSUs with automatic failover survive a supply failure, status LEDs localize faults per bay, and the whole unit carries a 2-year warranty. Dimensions match the 14-slot rack at 485 × 245 × 90 mm.
