Product Overview
Gigabit PoE switch with 8 × PoE ports and 2 × GE uplinks, external adapter — the flexible mid-range of our PoE line. The external PSU keeps the switch itself cool and makes field replacement of the power path a five-minute job. Eight gigabit PoE ports for cameras and APs, two uplinks to the core. Auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X throughout.

When do I need the all-gigabit HS-8GEP+2GE?
When 4K cameras and Wi-Fi 6 access points meet the network: all ten ports are gigabit — eight with PoE and two dedicated uplinks — switched over a 20 Gbps backplane at wire speed. It is the drop-in upgrade from our 100M PoE switches, in the same trusted metal housing with 4 kV surge protection on every port.
How much PoE power can it deliver?
Each of the eight PoE ports delivers up to 30 W under 802.3at or 15.4 W under 802.3af, working at a 48–56 V voltage. Because the total depends on the adapter, we size the power adapter to your project budget — tell us the device list and we will ship the right PSU, from a few cameras to a full 8-port at-class load.
How far can it run to powered devices?
Standard gigabit runs reach 100 m, and with PoE the switch supports transmission up to 150 m to powered devices — handy for ceiling APs and far camera positions. The housing is fanless and wall-mountable, consumption excluding PoE is 1.4–5 W, LEDs show per-port status, and the warranty period is 1 year.
