Product Overview
The HS-W10G-F extends your LAN over fiber with 1 × SFP slot (any 100/1000 MSA module) + 1 × RJ45 — a gigabit solution for point-to-point fiber links between switches, routers and remote equipment. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X keep installation plug-and-play; the metal housing mounts on walls or in cabinets. The 10G platform takes core uplinks without changing the cabling plant. Multimode 550 m to single-mode 120 km optics available — send the distance and port count for an exact quote.

What is the HS-W10G-F designed for?
It brings 10 GbE to the fiber edge: one side is an auto-negotiating 10/100/1000/10000 10GBase-T copper port, the other a 10G SFP+ slot. Typical uses are data-center ToR extensions, campus core links and 10G surveillance backbones. A 40 Gbps backplane keeps full 10G traffic at wire speed, with 2K MAC entries and 9K jumbo frames.
Which SFP+ modules should I pair with it?
Use any 10G SFP+ transceiver that matches your fiber — for example the HS-SFP-10G-LR-10 for 10 km over single-mode. The slot also accepts other 10GBase-SX/LX modules, and XFP compatibility is offered. The converter ships without a module so you order exactly the reach you need; ask us to pre-pair modules for both ends of the link.
What are the power requirements?
The converter is powered from DC with a supplied 5 V 4 A adapter, and the wide 5–12 V DC input range lets it share power supplies with other rack equipment. Consumption stays between about 0.75 and 3 W. Installation is plug and play, with LEDs for PWR, TP 1000/10G and FX LINK/ACT, covered by a 2-year warranty.
