The HS-1G1E-F extends your LAN over fiber with 1 × SFP slot (any 100/1000 MSA module) + 1 × RJ45 — a gigabit solution for point-to-point fiber links between switches, routers and remote equipment. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation and MDI/MDI-X keep installation plug-and-play; the metal housing mounts on walls or in cabinets. Multimode 550 m to single-mode 120 km optics available — send the distance and port count for an exact quote.

Why choose the SFP version instead of a fixed SC converter?

With an open SFP slot you decide the fiber later: insert a dual-fiber LC module, a single-fiber WDM module, a multi-mode module or even a copper SFP, and the converter matches the exact distance and connector of each project. One SKU covers every scenario, which keeps your warehouse stock small — especially useful for integrators and ISPs with varied sites.

Which SFP modules can I use with it?

Any standard 1.25G SFP transceiver works, and we recommend pairing it with our own HS modules — from 550 m multi-mode to 20, 40 or longer single-mode reaches, in LC duplex or BiDi versions. Order the converter alone, or ask for a bundle pre-paired with the right HS-SFP modules for your distance so both ends are guaranteed to match.

Is installation different from the fixed-fiber model?

No. Insert the SFP module (hot-pluggable), connect the LC patch cord and the RJ45 cable, and it is ready — auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDI-X handle the rest. The 94 × 71 × 26 mm wall-mountable metal case uses the same AC 100–240 V or DC 5 V 2 A supply and the same LED set, and carries a 2-year warranty.
