Overview
HS OEO optical amplifier is a device used in optical fiber link for optical signal gain, so that the optical signal in the transmission process of attenuation is compensated, in order to increase the non-relay transmission distance in the link to achieve long-distance transmission of optical fiber link. OEO stands for Optical-Electrical-Optical. It converts signals by amplifying and shaping, even for diferent conversion of wavelength and different forms of pattern. In this way, different issues of optical fiber during lond distance transmission can be solved perfectly.
HS standalone 10G OEO Converter, which is also known as 3R Reapter. The OEO is with SFP+ to SFP+, XFP to XFP, SFP+ to XFP, 3 models optional. By using optical - electricity - optical conversion, HS 10G OEO achieves optical signal regeneration, enables optical signal amplification and regeneration, re-timing, and wavelength conversion. In this way, it quickly improves the network capacity, expands the bandwidth loads of the current network. At the meanwhile, it’s cost effective compared with many expensive 10G devices in the market. Most important point is that it’s eay to manage and and run.
Basically speaking, HS 10G OEO Converter (3R Repeater) is a fiber media converter which connects between between 10G fiber to 10G fiber, or we can think it as a fiber repeater for long distance transmission.
HS Optical-Electrical-Optical (OEO) is with strong performance on optical wavelength conversion, optical signal boosting, and optical multiplexing. With increased optical power budget to significantly extend the range of the original signals or pass the signals through higher loss cabling systems. The signals are converted back to their original wavelengths at the other end of the fiber link, thus providing a transparent, bidirectional system.
