The HS 2G4FEP is 1000M POE switch with 1 1000M fiber port and 4 10/100Mbps RJ45 POE ports. We also offer all ports gigabit for higher speed demand networks. It’s suitable for the network which requires cascading switches as well as power supply for 1-4 ending devices.
POE switches offers power supply through Ethernet cables on the basis of normal non-POE functions. There are 2 kinds of POE switches, standard POE and non-standard POE. Non-standard POE switches get outdated with the development of technology. There is big risk of burning as it gives power as soon as ending equipment is connected to it. For standard POE, there is automatic detection before the power supply. It will detect if the ending equipment can bear the power supply or not; it can also detect if power supply is really needed. In this way, there will not risk of buring from compulsive powering.
