The HS 8F1GE is a 8 fiber port gigabit fiber optic switch with 8 100M fiber ports and 1 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports. As the fiber port is only 100M, we develop only SC connector type. But thtere are both single fiber and dual fiber for you to choose. The switch offers one Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports and eight SC slots for fiber optic cables. It allows to distribute the datas from connected Ethernet devices to 7 or less other fiber optic devices. As a 8 port fiber converging switch, we developed it with super big buffer space of 4.1M to ensure the best data processing ability and security.
HS 8F1GE is a gigabit fiber optic switch which converters between Ethernet and fiber optics. When we talk about an Ethernet switch, it is used for data transmission based on Ethernet, and Ethernet network applies a LAN cable as bus-type transmission medium. Each port of Ethernet switch is directly connected to the host devices and they are normally working in full duplex mode. Each port can be connected with the ports on another device as a pair and communicating with each other freely without conflits.
As a multiple channel 8 fiber port switch, HS 8F1GE can deliver such kinds of datas communication to 7 other fiber optic devices at most. It helps to create an intensive fiber optic based network environment with stable performance as well as fast speed. In order to meet different needs for end uders, we developed 4 different models for the 8 fiber port switch series. They are 8 fiber + 1 RJ45 ports and 8 fiber + 2 RJ45 ports. Each of them are developed with fiber ports in 100M version and fiber ports is 1000M version to meet different requirements. For 100M fiber version, there is no SFP connector optional and for 1000M version there will be both SC and SFP optional. You can choose different models according to your network requirements.
The HS-8F1GE is an Ethernet Fiber Switch which is specially designed for network monitoring. It has one 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet port and eight 155Mbps fiber ports. There are 4M buffer space and 16K Jumbo packet to ensure the smooth of monitoring pictures. It is equipped with imported chips to ensure low power consumption and high stability. It extends the transmission distance of a network from 100m to 120km via copper cables; there are also many other advantages such as isolation protection, good data security, working stability and easy maintenance.
