The HS 2G4E is a 6 port gigabit fiber optic switch with 2 1000M fiber port and 4 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports. Both SC and SFP connector types are available for this model.
2G4E offers rapid and stable full gigabit data transmissions and through the 2 fiber ports end users can connect with other 2 gigabit fiber switch to extend the distance coverage to 2KM for multi mode and up to 120KM for single mode. As for the Ethernet ports, they can be both 10/100Mbps and 10/100/1000Mbps auto-adaptive. It also supports auto MDI/MDIX functions which can automatically get used to the Ethernet CAT cable types connected with it.

The picture displays the SC connector type as SC types is more needed and it’s the most convenient version to use, even for starters. Most of our switches are developed with no configurations at all. For SC types, there are basically just single fiber and dual fiber types, end users can enjoy the amzing performance of HS switches by connecting the fiber cables and Ethernet cables correctly and with power adapters well pluged. For SFP version, it’s developed to offer more flexible choices for the network applications which requires changes all the time. According to the network deployment, end uders can adopt different SFP modules with different wavelengths and distance ranges to adjust the swiches to the current deployment.
Overview
The HS-2G4E is a 10/100/1000Mbps adaptive gigabit Ethernet Fiber Switch. It has four 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports and two 1.25Gbps fiber ports. It extends the transmission distance of a network from 100m to120km via copper cables. There are also many other advantages such as isolation protection, good data security, working stability and easy maintenance.
