The HS 1G4E is a 1000M gigabit fiber optic switch with 1 1000M fiber port and 4 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports. There are both SC and SFP versions optional. For most gigabit switches, we developed both SC and SFP versions. As a gigabit switch, it will help to expand your network capacity to the best extent.
In Local Area Network (LAN), a Gigabit Ethernet switch is normally designed to connect multiple devices, such as computers, servers, printers, or even gaming systems. With its unique advantage of fast fiber optical transmission, it also allows devices like 4K HDTVs and DVRs access the internet without depending on the Wi-Fi devices. And due to the speeding up data transmission ability, it results in faster response time and better frame rate. In general, a Gigabit Ethernet switch helps to improve the network capacity via extra ports with faster transmission rate and better data processing ability.
Fiber Optic Switches operate at the data link layer in order to create a separate collision domain for each interface on the switches. For example, with 4 computers connected to the 4 ports on HS 1G4E, any two of the ports can transfer datas back and forth. The rest two ports will also transfer datas back and forth automatically. Whwta’s more, the two data link layers will not disturb each other. As a full gigabit switch, all the RJ45 ports are both 10/100Mbps and 10/100/1000Mbps auto-adaptive. As a plug-and-play design, it’s super convenient to use and will function well as soon as connected correctly.
There is also a mini version for this model. We developed a mini size version which is exactly same as standard media converters. For those applications with super limited space it would be a great help. End users can choose the suitable model according to the application requirements.
The HS-1G4E is a 10/100/1000Mbps adaptive gigabit Ethernet Fiber Switch. It has four 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports and one 1.25Gbps fiber port. It extends the transmission distance of a network from 100m to 120km via copper cables. There are also many other advantages such as isolation protection, good data security, working stability and easy maintenance.
